Coverage standard
This platform applies one uniform public-source coverage standard to company entries. The standard applies equally to every company and does not change with commercial relationships, payment, or company size.
1. What we collect
- Identity: company name, headquarters location (city and country), and year of founding where disclosed
- Operations: product categories, published annual capacity, and a company profile compiled from public sources
- Capital markets: listing status and stock exchange ticker for listed companies
- Sources and updates: every record states its data sources and last update date
- Some registration items — such as China’s unified social credit code and registered capital — exist only in the Chinese-market dataset and are collected there, not in global entries
2. Source requirements
- Official company registries and government disclosure systems of the relevant jurisdiction
- Rosters and statistics published by industry associations
- Industry rankings and research data published by research institutions on their own sites, provided the ranking title and publication date can be verified; the same material as reposted on aggregators is not accepted
- Company disclosures: annual reports, stock-exchange filings and official websites
- Public reporting by reputable media
- Every source is labelled "issuing body · title of the material". Where the issuing body produced the material but did not post the full text on its own site, and an industry publication carries it instead, the carrying publication is noted separately after the source name; the issuing body and the carrying publication are never conflated
- Not accepted: unattributable paraphrase, anonymous claims, sponsored content and paid placements
3. Independence
- The coverage standard applies equally to every company and does not change with commercial relationships, payment, or company size.
- We do not offer paid inclusion, paid ranking, or paid removal or amendment of records.
- Where an entry is inaccurate or out of date, we correct it after verifying public sources, applying the same standard to every company.
4. Corrections and disputes
- If you represent a company covered here and believe an entry is inaccurate or out of date, you can request a correction using the contact details in the footer.
- We will update the entry once the public sources have been verified, and the update will be recorded on the entry.
